We Look Forward to Seeing you Soon

In Person/Zoom Hybrid Meetings will be coming for the 2023-2024 program year.  Meanwhile, we are eager to gather more in person and don't want to wait a whole year for that to happen.  So this year, we’ve added a few more field trips (including Advocacy trips) and we’re introducing Seasonal Serenoa FNPS Coffee & Conversations.   These new meet and greets will be an opportunity to connect beyond the screen.  They are scheduled for: Nov. 12th, Feb. 11th, May 6th, & Aug. 6th at the Sarasota Audubon Nature Center picnic tables.

Look for the mug icon in the calendar lineup for more Coffee & Conversation details.

For details about the Advocacy Field Trips, look for the FNPS logo in the calendar events.

Monthly General Meetings

(DeSoto, Sarasota, Manatee, and Hardee Counties)

Our General Meetings are via Zoom at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Monday of each month, September through May. We first convene for a short business meeting followed by the evening's program.  After the presentation, the meeting concludes with a moderated Q&A session with the speaker.  Zoom registration links for each meeting are provided on the Meeting & Trip Registration Page.  Please register in advance.

Field Trips

There's now something happening at least once a month.  Whether it's an educational tour, informal hike, or to advocate, Serenoa is getting out into the community.  Some trips have limited availability, so please register in advance to confirm your spot. Registration links are provided on the Meeting & Trip Registration Page.  Details and Directions will be emailed to registrants as the trip date approaches.  Please wear appropriate clothing, pack trail snacks, & bring water.

Executive Board Meetings

Serenoa Chapter Board Meetings are via Zoom on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm, September to May. All members are welcome!  These Meetings with the Board are relaxed yet worthwhile affairs with promises to be done as close to 8:00 pm as possible. For more information and the zoom link, reach out to Alison Bishop at 941-376-4415 (text preferred) or serenoa@fnps.org
